I recently received my custom vacation boards. I like them. I also just bought some ace boards for 275 dollars. The Ace boards were flawless when they arrived. The CS boards were less money and once again I am happy with my purchase but you asked so I'm telling. There were marks or small dents to a couple places on the edges of the boards like they were not handled really carefully. The surface had a few areas that I could feel something like sand or something that I felt if I picked at it, it would mess up the picture and maybe pull some paint of the board. These are small complaints that I was not going to call you on but you sent this request for a review email and I have time so here we are. This is after receiving the ace boards that were flawless. The surface of the ace boards has a nice texture to it also.
I like the boards you sent me. To be honest though, If I wanted another set of boards I would go with the Ace boards only because of the above reasons. The vacation boards were less money so I can understand getting less quality but the small dents and the surface imperfections are there. On the good side, I like the Baltic birch, I like the dado joints, the recessed screws look professional, the legs are sturdy, the board feels solid and I like the process for the custom picture!
Once again, I appreciate the boards you sent to me, I do like them and plan on using them,
The picture I provided is really zoomed in and does not show when looking at them from a normal distance and is not going to bug me. I don't have the other board to take pictures of the dents that were on the edges because I lent the board to someone. Once again, not a big deal. I provide this info only so you can improve your product because it seems to me you have a really great operation over there and I want you to be successful.
